This policy commentary by the Forum for Youth Investment highlights the need to develop quality measures that local systems can implement.
TASC and its partners in the Collaborative for Building After-School Systems (CBASS) have their work highlighted in this policy commentary by the Forum for Youth Investment. The commentary addresses the need to develop and adopt common youth-, program- and system-level measures of quality that are easy and cost-effective for local after-school systems to implement. By agreeing to adopt and publicly report against a common set of outcomes, CBASS partners hope to spark more efforts to use common measures to assess program productivity and success, hold providers accountable for quality, demonstrate after-school’s contribution to the successful development of children and youth and contribute to system-building and sustainability.
