Service-learning meets the critical needs of youth at risk by promoting positive youth development while increasing academic achievement and improving community connections. Participate in this three-day Institute that will reinforce principles of high quality effective service-learning, help educators understand the dropout crisis, explore how service-learning promotes positive youth development and prevents dropouts, and allow participants to choose a model of service-learning to investigate.
